Exactly. Some people can't see past a supporters view.

He's got an opportunity to play in a top European league for a team who recently played in the Europa league, people forget we are in league 1. Can't take anything away from Maja - I hope he kicks on and gives it a good go.

It obviously rankles with how it's played out but that's modern football, it's a short career. If he scores 8-10 goals between now and the end of the season God knows where he'll end up.

We move on.

Its a great move for him no doubt , I think some fans struggle with the idea that players want to play for anyone but us, we are the biggest club in the world in our own eyes, but not the reality is it.

Listen mate, what the fuck is your problem? Sick of you replying talking shite when I am making reasonable posts

If you don't like me fine, I don't care, but stick me on ignore, you are so boring ffs.

You don't seem to have any interest on what is going on at Sunderland, just a clear agenda to come on and kick off with people who disagree with you.

Please just stick me on ignore, had enough of you.
:lol::lol::lol::lol:

:lol::lol::lol::oops:

Jesus wept, whats wrong with you?

He did to be fair yeah, on about the youth players mate, Mumba signed like, I am amazed nobody is slightly worried that some of our academy lads haven't signed deals yet

does nobody care?
Do u think with Maja its different.Leading goalscorer saying one thing to fans via press( hes staying), then maybe something different in dressing room to team mates.Would that scenario come to a head ?

I am expressing worries that none of our young players arent signing deals yet

If you don't think that is a slight concern then good luck to you

Have you ever considered that the club don't feel that they're good enough to offer new contracts to?
If the club is aiming to get promoted then they probably don't want to sign league 2 standard or below players to long term contracts

He’s lied to the manager and owner about wanting to stay. He’s turned up to collect his belongings and fucked off saying he’ll never play for us again. He can fuck off. Hope he ends up warming a cheese and garlic ridden bench for the next 3 years.

If the rumours are true, fuck that like.:lol: Although if there's a sell on clause I hope he does well for Bordeaux until he's sold.

Tbh i'm done with getting angry or upset at players wanting/ not wanting to play for Sunderland, particularly League One players. The club will survive with or without him. He's a young lad and he's probably only thinking about himself and his future, i'm not gonna hold that against him - I have no doubt in the future he'll come to regret how he left the club that developed him.

He's from South East London and signing for Charlton meant he was going 'home'. Let's face it we were a pretty shit prospect employer from an outsiders point of view during the summer. Money talks to both clubs and players.

I spoke to him after the Charlton match (I was in a hostility – sic – suite, and he came in as he’d been voted MOTM). And he said exactly this. Had nothing against us just wanted to be back home.

I was very impressed with him both on the pitch and off it. Has a presence and comes across as a smart lad. Shame, as he would have been a big player for us. Ho hum.
