That is such a short termist view though, where is the forward thinking?

Some players get paid on potential, if we are offering him the wages of a player his age at Shrewsbury for example, then he is never going to stay is he

He is an England youth international at every age group, that deserves some respect from the owners.
Totally agree and that's why I keep saying we'll see loads of them leave. The club won't match their ambitions right now and can't afford to pay for potential. We'll see a lot of good lads go for less than they're worth because we can't afford to keep them.

SD said when he came in that the academy would pay for itself, we're seeing the start of that now.

And how many of them have left.
Except Maja who has just effectively walked out of the club that gave him a chance

None of them have left, but none of them are signing deals, it's a bit of a worry. You don't seem to care what iota what goes on at the club though, you're just here to defend the owners.

That’s not the point mate. Why say he wanted to stay if he had no intention of doing so? This manner of shithousery will never sit well with me.

He might have wanted to stay, but if a better career move opens up you take it. There's no loyalty in football, just as there's no real loyalty in any job, I'd sack off my job for something better paid and more suited to be given the chance.

How do you know none are signing deals, I’m not here to defend the owners but as I’ve said in my mind so far they’ve done nothing wrong.
I could say you are just here to criticise them

Too right I would, I'd be f***ing out of the door before they even knew it.
