Wonder if the five days off is so they can sort this out without the rest of the squad being effected by his attitude?

Get him out asap.

He’s probably playing at a level where he is slightly too good for and just on a lucky run of form.

We'll all get over it, I would hope. I was just highlighting that we need to do something more than sign a striker... we need to find a way to create more chances.

We have to sell him man. He’s out of contract at the end of the season and he walks away, all we get is compo, and even less of that if he goes abroad. Are you advocating we keep him against his will until the end of the season? What kind of player do you think he’s going to be between now and then? Do you honestly and truthfully believe he’s going to give us 100%? This way at least we get something back from his sale to reinvest in the squad. Can’t you see this?

Sounds like it was pretty much sorted anyways if we've agreed a fee today. We don't need the money to strengthen, we already have money, so doubt we'd then suddenly accept and offer the next day. Would mean we were taking their first offers.
