This. I'm sure the deal hasn't just come out of thin air this morning, it'll have been in the offing. If he's decided he wants to move to a better league for a big pay rise then I'm not surprised that he's decided he doesn't want to risk an injury that could possibly jeopardise it in a checkatrade trophy game which, to be fair, we haven't been playing full strength sides in anyway. He did play in our last league game, and scored, and seemed to be putting the effort in, so I've got no issue with him not wanting to play last night if it's true

We are in the third division and have owners without serious financial clout. Players will want to leave, especially with interest from the French top division. He's a talented lad who's got a decent move.

Good luck to him, not much the club could do at this point if his mind is made up. Only other option was keep him until the summer and get nowt.

We’re going to need to spend a fair bit to get promoted now, which I can’t see us doing, they haven’t been willing to do it so far

Doncaster, Southend we did. Would be interesting to know how many he hasn't started tbf.

We are just really easy to set up agaisnt. We're not particularly attacking till we go behind & we don't commit enough bodies into the final third. Not sure the system works with the players we have tbf. Certainly not when maguires in the 10.

Earlier in the season we were going at teams from the start. I think sides have worked us out a bit and the manager has swayed a bit from his beliefs too becoming a bit more cautious. We need alterative methods of attack but the problem is we've invested in Wyke and have Watmore so realistically with those on the books we can't just dismiss them.
