Don't think it's a good deal if they go and sign Grigg for under half of it. He's not on Majas level & the rest will go on his 2 and a half year deal. Shite deal really. Money isn't even upfront so it's just shite

Damned if they do, damned if they dont, personally think its good money given the circumstances. Whether the club can spend money wisely in the time left given the league we are in is another matter. Personally think we will be left with a panic buy but can't really blame the club in this instance.
 
Gutted but don't blame him.

It's a big step up for him currently and he's shown some ambition at a time when so many players are criticised for not even considering a move abroad.
 
I hope that it being left so late in the window is as much to do with us not letting it happen until we are certain of replacements as much as Maja or his agent messing us about.
I also wonder if the apparent changes to the squad are part of the reason JR has given the squad time off

Aye anar but this has all came from the public deadline because the club have been desperate to sell him this month.

It’s the biggest decision of his career so far he hasn’t earned a lot up until this point. He could sign with us rupture his acl in his next game and never be the same player can’t blame him for going for the money.

They said the same for like McNair & Asoro. Also Donald reckoned Cattermole and Honeyman would prepare not to play for the club again. Seems an awful lot of people just apparently refusing to play for us.
