Mate if he lets he’s contract run out we won’t get a penny for him he will be a free transfer free to sign for any team

Yeah embleton had a good tournament I thought he would have been a starter for us this season to be fair I would have like to have seen him have more of a chance

If you’re under 23 then as long as you offered them a contract then there’s a mandatory 20% of next sale clause in whoever he signs for. I also thought Embleton would have got a look in this season.

Been happy with a 20% sell on clause ? When we should be building a team round them in a season or 2 ??

It’s hard to judge young players some times you have to take a gamble on potential when offering them new deals

If you’re under 23 then as long as you offered them a contract then there’s a mandatory 20% of next sale clause in whoever he signs for. I also thought Embleton would have got a look in this season.

Been in quite a few years at least I think. And yes, I would have liked to have seen him given a chance, or at least be part of the squad.

There’s nothing I can do about it, some of them will sign and some won’t, hopefully they get sorted out but if they don’t it’s not going to ruin my day.

Well I asked if you think we offered him what he wanted in September and you said probably not but did eventually so maja should sign as we did offer him the deal he wanted eventually so isn’t that really agreeing with me ??

Yeah it looks like we’ve agreed to what maja has asked for 2-3 months to late and now he has better offers and done brilliant for us so clearly the lad will want more or even worse want to join someone else

I don’t know when the agreement was...either do you. I don’t know how the talks went down, either do you...but I assume again that there was negotiations involved.

When was the deadline put out? August? No, it was right before the window opened. Stewart Donald said they agreed to the offer and the agent was not getting back to him. The Club wanted it wrapped up before the transfer window so it wouldn’t interfere with other deals. Still no word from agent, then a deadline was put out and instead of signing, the agent went to the press to say Maja wouldn’t be signing...childish shit if you ask me. If anything that was reported wasn’t true, why hasn’t the agent refuted that info?

If maja in September asked for whatever he asked for and we offered that straight away I can guarantee Stewart Donald would have told us that in either a podcast or on Twitter

It’s simple to see what has happened we have tried to negotiate some will say that was the right thing to do some will say it was the wrong thing but then closer to January or in January we have agreed to the terms he has asked but in the meantime he’s became a crucial part of the team and has scored quite a few goals and chances are now wants more money which to be fair you can’t blame him or he’s been tapped up by another club

Why would Stewart Donald announce that on twitter if Maja didn’t sign anything? Did he say Gooch has agreed everything before he signed? No, he said the deals were 90% done...your making shit up.
