Hard to know what to believe, but really hope we haven't only offered him the 6k reported in that article

That's very good money in League One and at many Championship clubs, especially for a 19 year old.

If I were him I would sign it, as if he keeps doing the business, he will easily still get a move anyway as it will probably suit us to collect the fee. If he does not sign it, he could get a cruciate injury in the last game of the season and nobody will sign him injured. He then has no deal after the end of June with us or anyone else and could be doing his rehab without the support of a club or any income. No doubt his agent will make sure he's OK though if that happens.

Its not really like mate, its a pretty poor wage in the champ for someone of his ability, he will have offers absolutely dwarfing that.

Just a newspaper report mind

And he will get those offers anyway if he keeps doing the business. The £6k per week is on the table now and its apparently 7 times what he's currently on. If he does not sign it, any serious injury between now and the end of the season puts his next deal at risk and he would be out of contract completely in July. The only person who may lose out if he did sign is his agent. Maja would be £5k better off for the next 5 and a bit months and would still get a better deal elsewhere anyway. He loses £125k between now and the end of the season if he does not sign and is risking an injury that could leave him isolated.

Not being funny but this could be as good as it ever gets for the lad. Look at his mate Asoro? He's making more money but also making zero progress at a critical time in his career. I would suggest that Asoro's career prospects would have been better served by still being here on less money. Maja is benefiting from Asoro's mistake. If he's not very careful, Kimpioka will benefit from his.

If I was him there is no chance in hell I'd be signing a deal for £6k a week like. He is worth more than that.

Anyone could get injured at anytime like, you think nobody is gonna sign him if he gets injured? course they would.

Agree there - he could be easily getting double if not triple that somewhere

Guess who is out of contract next summer though......

FFS, He's not in the Championship and hasn't proven himself there either. Seriously, you bang on about paying him what he wants which the club have offered. How much would you offer a player who has only had any real success in league 1? Can't wait to read your reply.

Again, he hasn't proven himself anywhere but league 1. Picture the conversation in your mind...

Hi Mauricio, got this Sundewrland player who's bangin them in in league 1, was pretty much anonymous in the championship and he's injured. Whaddya reckon, 30k a week in case he comaes good?

Give your head a shake marra.

Whats this injury nonsense? He will get adeal even if he gets injured man

No reason to commit long term to a club like

See above. And in response to the last line, If there's no need to commit to a club long term, why would he sign for a league 1 club when he knows that even if he's injured or shite he'll get a better deal cos The Rat says so.

I am not really sure what on earth you are talking about

the fact is he will get offered a lot more than 6k elsewhere, so why would he stay?

Have a lie down, what the fuck are you on about?:lol:

You seriously don't think he will be getting offered a lot more than 6k elsewhere? what a bizarre post.

If he doesn’t want to stay, wish him well and wave him bye bye, end of dialogue.

Aye, at the end of the season

No circumstance in which he should be sold in Jan

My point is if we really have offered him £6k I dont blame him for leaving he will get much much more elsewhere. Its only a newspaper report though so might not be true
