Paddy O'Dors

He did indeed but things were not as bad as the end of last season .Smith did make some shrewd signings typically Marco and someone must have sanctioned Eric Gates wages.
John McPhail was immense that season like.

I believe this squad should be performing better than it is.
He's signed Wyke...what for? If anything he makes us worse.
Everyone been banking on the side gelling once we move past Christmas,...
We have a pedestrian central midfield that lacks pace, drive, initiative, guile, strength and height. This is why we spend so much time attacking down the wings. Honeyman addressed these shortcomings, sufficiently, to give us some presence in CM, but, without him, whatever permutation of Power, Cattermole, McGeouch, Mumba, Maguire or O'Nien we deploy centrally, we struggle to compete. The one shining light in this is that Mumba is about twelve and will become an excellent CM in a couple of years. If we can't find a suitable, robust CM on our budget, it may be worth looking at playing one of the defenders in a CM role, to get some semblance of height and physicality into the centre of the park. You have downplayed things a little.
There was a big upheaval in the squad and little money to play with as lawrie mac had virtually bankrupted us.
Smith made some clever signings for next to nowt, brought in young uns like Owers and after a, stuttering first few games, away we went playing good attractive football and scoring goals a plenty.
Ross still doesn't know his best 11, the football is turgid and he seems to have abandoned his St Mirren principles for some unknown reason.
Fwiw, I think he has done a fairly good job so far given the summer upheaval, and it won't take much to get us top 2, but ffs, let's have some up tempo football with movement, pace and decent passing.
Name one club that this has happened to.
He’s got no money so stick with him. That’s where the club has gone wrong over the years having to pay so many people off. If we don’t go up this year then he hasn’t got long next season
He is like. Bloody ridiculous the slant he has.True or false: can you go a whole season without a loss and still get relegated??
If we loss 3 and won 3 out of the 11 draws, would we have more points?
You’re a Stepford fan.
problem is. even anyone with half a clue about football has witnessed this for 4 years now. not one manager has sorted it .. not oneWe have a pedestrian central midfield that lacks pace, drive, initiative, guile, strength and height.
