Nelson to Dundee

Out of contract in the summer so it must be a case of the coaches mustn’t think it’s worth investing more money in him. All the best to him and hopefully ends up having a better time up there than Greenwood.

Embleton hasn’t played at this level where as a Max Power has and is proven at this level
Maja wasn't proven at this level at the start of the season. You can't prove anything without being given a chance and Power isn't exactly playing well imo.

Apart from Sinclair which loan players have we had this season particularly ones that have forced Embleton to go out on loan
He should be playing not out on loan, it doesn't need over complicating. I honestly believe that Kimpioka, Mumba and Embleton are better than some of our regular starters. The loan element doesn't only relate to this season, we've done it for years bringing other teams young uns on while ours struggle to get a game. Long term we need to change focus, Southampton being the model.

Bizarre......we just don't to seem to want to keep young un's with potential.....
I’ve never seen Nelson play so I can’t comment on his potential but if you’re 22 and it’s the likes of Dundee who are chasing your signature I’ve got to say he probably isn’t up to scratch

No but I’m saying when they signed him he was and as for Maja if Wyke hadn’t got injured I doubt he would of been first choice really.

Saw Greenwood at Gateshead last season and he was absolutely shocking. He got hooked and they scored 4 or 5 after he went off. Awful.

Kimpioka and Mumba are not yet physically capable of playing 2 games a week at league one level, they’re being developed correctly and you’ll see both go out on loan next season to gain more experience in the way that Embleton is this season

I reiterate my question which loanees have we signed that have kept them all out of the team?

If anything Embleton is ahead of them in his development as he is playing regularly one of those or even both will go out on loan next season

Aye, that’s my point mate. I feel some of our young players just need a run in the team and a bit of patience and they’ll turn out to be better than the more experienced players in the team.

I find it strange we are happy to take young uns, often not very good on loan from other clubs while the academy young uns rarely get a look in. Think we need to have a bit of faith in our own prospects.
Yes. After all, Henderson, Colback, Pickford, Watmore, Honeyman, Gooch, Asoro, Maja, Kimpioka, Mumba and Robson were never given a look in.

I say we're one of the best in the country at giving academy lads a go. If they are let go it's due to them not being deemed good enough. Not that many let go from our academy that have gone on to make us regret the decision, at least compared to some clubs.

Well if we are going all formal sir them I reiterate my reply. Power until the window opened and Sinclair. I didn't say loan players keeping our young uns out, my point is we are playing players and signing players who are no better than the academy lads we have. Mcgeough and Power better than our own young uns we've farmed out? Reality is we are still at a point where Catts and Honeyman are our best centre mids, I know that will divide our fans but that's what I believe.
