Rock bottom of the SPL is about National League standard. We mustn't fancy him.

I find it strange we are happy to take young uns, often not very good on loan from other clubs while the academy young uns rarely get a look in. Think we need to have a bit of faith in our own prospects.

Not sure if this is serious or not. We’ve chucked plenty in, some have been half decent some have been average to poor. If Nelson hasn’t been given a chance it’s because he must be way below the standard.
 
We can't afford to sit on players that will not realistically come into first team consideration, given his age and development it's better for the club and the player that he makes a fresh start elsewhere, hopefully a nice sell on clause just in case but the finances of the club are being built on far stronger foundations than in the past, if he isn't sniffing around the edge of the first team in League One and we anticipate (realistically, obviously not a given) going up then he is surplus to needs.

21 and scored 6 in 5 games on loan in National League and Barnsley were eyeing up a bid (which suggests 'shite' to those saying SPL is National League Standard), but trust in Ross. Hopefully we will see a big wage exit too soon, but I'm not holding my breath.

League 1 is better than bottom half of Scottish premier league.

How do you know he can do a job at this level? Have you seen him play, and even if you have, he hasn't played at the level yet so no-one knows. And those that can hazard an informed guess are the manager and coaches, surely?

Gooch and Maja have been in the first team picture for upwards of 2 years, the others have had no run whatsoever in the team. How the fuck Sinclair was getting a game in front of our young strikers I'll never know.
 
All the best to him. Comes across as a decent lad in the few interviews I've seen him in. Hopefully he's more of a success up there than Greenwood was (has he dropped out of the game all together?)

Are you seriously suggesting that some of the loans brought in were better than what we had already had? We've been short of energy in midfield since Honeyman's injury and yet we've got Embleton out tearing it up for Grimsby. I can't see the logic in sending players out on loan that are superior to the ones we bring in on loan.
 
Out of contract in the summer so it must be a case of the coaches mustn’t think it’s worth investing more money in him. All the best to him and hopefully ends up having a better time up there than Greenwood.

Embleton hasn’t played at this level where as a Max Power has and is proven at this level

A few appearances in the checkatrade is not being given a chance or playing regularly mind. If anything we seem to be moving away from giving young players a chance the more the season goes on. Hopefully he plays a bit more with Sinclair returning to Watford.

Apart from Sinclair which loan players have we had this season particularly ones that have forced Embleton to go out on loan

The Power deal was always going to be made permanent however his recent form has been average at best, and I'm sorry mate but bollocks to the "proven at this level" philosophy. By tgat basis we'll have average players where we have a top notch academy that should and is developing better players than Power.
