It's not luck that a player plays well. Regardless of what Charlie says.

What the fuck are you talking about? They didn't count on him being as much of a first choice striker, so their failure to get another one they got lucky

maja and the manager take credit

you just argue different points that have nothing to do with anything for the sake of it

The one's we've replaced them with have been more use than N'Dong, Djilibodji, Rodwell, Gibson and all 3 keepers, so I'm not sure you're right there.

Maybe, but Wyke isn't better than Maja etc, not having aog, just making the point its hard to sign players who turn out to be succesful, so if you have ones performing, losing them would be a blow

You're not right in the head. A child stuck in a man's body.
I'll leave you to it as this will end up with you continuing your normal path of making things up.
Enjoy your day.

The owner has said we have funds available and could bring in a couple of signings for cash exceeding what we paid for Wyke. I get the feeling Ross will sign a striker and that will be us done
If that’s the case, and we don’t go up, then it’d be fair to say that Ross would have failed.

Their reputation/value, finally on the up, good time to cash in....though I'd keep Matthews for now...

Sine that left winger from Pompey, a big un from Charlton or Luton, the Shankland kid and Moore or Eaves

32k+ average, Billionaire Director........needs 2-3m, if we don't offload anyone

Is it not the leagues version of FFP that's stopping us buying players, as opposed to not having the cash to pay for them?

Those days of gambling are long gone. A £6m outlay in league one is massive and banking on increased gates to pay for it is absolutely mental.

What if the players increase in value? Or are good enough to step up to the Championship and save us having to source players in excess of £2-3m in the summer.

Honestly, you are the most argumentative mentalist on here

Someone makes a normal point and you just argue a completely different one for the sake of it. You've got massive issues, go have a lie down or something

If we can afford them then we'd sign them I'd imagine.

Fuck me, I'm now convinced you're on a massive wind up.

Its not really a relevant point, he'd improve every position if he could, as every manager in the world would. Its about prioritising positions when yyou have such limited funds

It is small when you consider our current income mate

I get what you mean, but if you take it too far you end up being a league one club for years
Let's face it, you seem to have a chip on your shoulder when it comes to our owners. You've been having digs at them ever since they came here in one way or another. They'll never do right in your eyes it seems.

Youre wrong like Rocky. It is lucky if you plan for something, completely fail to get it but one of your employees overperforms your expectations and closes the gap you left. In any industry.

It’d be nice to have the guarantee that it’d pay off. Think the truth of our current financial reality is that we can’t sustain multimillion gambles. We aren’t likely to be spending 7 figures on a player while in this league. Quite simply we don’t need to. It’s only ever been done 8 or 9 times and it isn’t required to get out of the league.

Can maja sign a pre contract agreement with another club this month?
A non English one only

Sorry like but I don't think getting lucky is a young player improving. There is work that goes into it. That's not luck.

As I say though we need to keep an eye on next summer IF we go up. Prices will only be higher and I don’t think many of us think we have a squad capable of consolidating in the Championship as it stands.

Well I don't agree with them then, I think they should have invested bit more in the team, got lucky with Maja really, give them the benefit of the doubt for the summer as they had a lot to do, but now is the time to invest and get the hell out of this league

we are talking about such small sums as well that I am on about, couple mill max
They didn’t get lucky with Maja. The club and its employees have known for some time, just how good he is.
