This, enigmatic. No hard edge seemingly but a great finisher. Personally I would give 6/4 against him making it at the top without the grit.I don't actually enjoy watching him play that much. For the most part he's not really involved. Then he scores.
Strange kid who really could become a great or an utter flop. Hope his agent knows what he's doing![]()
I agree.

If we were still in premier league I think we’d be checking how our prodigy was getting on on loan in league one, in theory any wayThat doesn’t seem so unfair. When we were in the Premier League I bet most of us weren’t looking at League One checking up on goalscorers.

Any update though on the Maja contract ?
Aye, but we're not paid to manage a team with relatively limited funds (as far as premier league goes), so surely his job should be to know as much as he can about the English game. I'd have thought the highest scoring teenager in England (or he was at some point) may have cropped up on his radar at some point.
If he goes to the championship (still a big if) then to be honest where would he go that is as big or bigger than Sunderland ? ....... how many Championship clubs have had 46000+ fans at a game this season ?.....and for league 1 ffs.......lets hope he sees sense, tells his agent to fuck off, and do the sensible thing and stay in a team where he is doing well, and which "may" end up in that league anyway..

"I think what I said post-match on Saturday remains the case and I’ve been fairly consistent in my communication with regards to it.
I don’t envisage anything changing and certainly, the communication that I’ve had with Stewart as of today is that we are where we were.
He’ll continue to be a part of my team and my squad for as long as he continues to train the way he does and perform the way he has done in matches.
I pointed out after the game that there is a difference between asking to leave a club and at a moment in time, not taking up the option of signing an extension to your contract.
So, the latter is what he’s done, it’s not the former, which means that the situation is easier for me."
If he shows the same commitment as he did on Saturday he will do well for us.Sounds a bit more likely that he'll run his contract down than leave in January.
Don said he still wants to stay. Hopefully know more in the next few daysSounds a bit more likely that he'll run his contract down than leave in January.
