It looked to have worked until his agent thought he'd have his fun. I'm assuming they gave him an ultimatum so they would have time to find a replacement. Just as well they did as he appears to want away.

It was going to go one way or the their. Maja signs, Donald gets the praise he deserves. By it’s gone the other way and we end up in a mess on the eve of a huge game. So any criticism I think is quite fair, especially if we get a poor result today either without or with a Maja who’s head is somewhere else.

I’m happy to know so that I can apportion blame.

Great, pleased for you. Not sure how that benefits the team though.

Yep trying to remember what it was like to be a naive 20 year old being giving differing advise from all sides, at the end of the day I think I’d take the advise of the professional I’d appointed

I'm 27 and just gone through my first mortgage application.
Paid a mortgage advisor £500 as they know what they're talking about. Wish I'd gone straight to a bank and done it myself now but at the time you just think "these know what they're talking about, it's their job!"

In Roker report this morning.

Thanks. So presumably leaked by Donald then. That’s a good deal IMO, but don’t like the way SD goes about his business. He’s going to have to wisen up if we want to move onwards and upwards

Some people take advice from sky pixies.

Tony Blair took holy advice before illegally invading Iraq.

It’s definitely a good deal.
The way he does his business will always split opinion, that’s one thing I have no doubt about and I can see both sides of the argument.

That's fair enough, surely we could afford £400k that lad obviously knows how to score, plus has he played for Jack Ross before at St Mirren ?
Yup, played there for almost 2 seasons on loan.
Had some attitude issues earlier in his career, but at 22 he's only getting better

Don't have an issue with it personally, agents use the media all the time, why should Stewart Donald, let the agent have that tool and not use it ourselves, it will put the pressure on the agent instead of the media being able to turn fans against the owner by saying he's not ambitious, 10k a week for a league one club is a massive offer and signals our intent.

Meh. He has to be a man and make the call. It's his footballing life on the line. He is 20 years old not a 14 year old at the AOL
I'd class myself as having a level of intelligence that your average footballer doesn't have.

I was good at saving money at university, but will I have fuck had a clue when it came to something like this.

Don't know anyone at that age that would be as clear of mind to make that decision. I would have been asking my parents/family sure anyone would

Shouldn't have an agent deciding anything at that age. Fair enough have one to get you in the door with clubs, but the actual decision the agent can do one.

Nothing wrong with what SD has done.....All dealt with in house till the agent thought he would start playing the clever shite by chatting to Sky News......Rather than let the agent drive the narrative SD has taken the power from him and called him out for what he is, a f***ing parasitic shit house stirring up shit where there was none.

£10k a week, with another pay increase in the summer if we are promoted or a release clause if not is a bloody good deal from Maja's point of view, what more can the lad want at this stage of his career.

He knows what he is getting here. Surroundings etc. IMO, he should be making the call. It'd to blame the agent. The agent acts at the players instructions. Therefore he doesn't want to stay

More importantly where can he get a better offer?

Of he can and his agent has lined it up for him then fine, he's doing his job, I suspect he has nothing in the pipeline and that's why he's trying to drum up interest in him via sky, this is a play for a bigger bonus from a buying club or from us, I'd bet my mortgage this is to do with the agents money and not majas.
