We complain about lack of transparency and players/agents dicking us about, lap up the 'piss taking party' comments and the first time we see it in action we get our knickers in a twist over Donald calling them out.

As if agents won't want to deal with us over this - they only care about getting the best deal.
Well said. I reckon that Stewart and Charlie should keep going public in the short term, explaining how and why the wantaway players are being shown the door.

Once the squad is settled and populated with good, committed characters I'd expect the owners to quieten down.

I agree. However if that deadline was private would the agent have called Donald instead of sky? I think so.

The deadline was put out because we'd negotiated the contract and met his wage demands but the agent wasn't returning the club's phone calls.

To the 3,000 amazing supporters doing that journey tomorrow: please back him, sing his name. Show him what he’d miss if he left.
Could have a whip round, fiver each is £15k. Put it in a brown envelope as he walks off the pitch with a polaroid of his dog in a precarious situation and a note saying sign the contract. It could work.....?? Don't think he has a dog though?

Or bought us most of the transfer window to find a replacement if we sell for an acceptable amount this window. Time will tell. One things for sure, learning Maja's 'new' position on the last day of the window would have left no options.
You must see this surely ?

He could have done it privately and avoided all this. He’s asked fans three times today to get behind Maja and there’s still ructions. Half the board hates him already.

Donald is still confident he will sign and still wants him to so nowt has changed really. He’s still waiting to see if he will sign...as he was yesterday.

Any body got a contact no' for Keith Lard?

Ross has always said he only wanted people who wanted to play for the club.....he clearly doesn't so drop him and move on to someone who does want to play. No time for showboaters, he clearly hasn't learned anything from Osoros situation, and he will struggle if he goes up any divisions that's for sure.

Move on

How could he have done it privately after it was leaked to SKY man ?
You still haven't acknowledged that the deadline has now revealed Maja's position allowing us to CONSIDER offers and find a replacement within this window.

We are the kings of throwing our toys out the pram when a player doesn't commit his future and name all his kids after past players. Stewarts openess has opened up a can of worms purely because Social Media can be misconstrued in its context. While our chairman may have been acting in what he thought were the best intentions he forgot that there are a set of total fannies that will use any negativity to drag the club, players and fans back down in the shitty pit we have been in for too many years.

Many players turn down contracts especially talented players that have a chance at the big time (no I don't think he's ready but many players that aren't get big contracts just in case they are the next big thing). There are also players that don't sign purely because the timing isn't right, he holds the cards as does his agent. It's happening with Aaron Ramsay but he is continuing to play and not get any grief.

We are now the soap opera club after STiD, that has some benefits but will have its negatives as well. At the end of the day we are a league one club with an amazing fan base and potential yet we are financially constrained. What will be will be however that's never the case with this club.

Not really sure what your point is tbh, quite a long post with a number of mixed messages.
Don't worry about "fannies" too much, or toys being thrown out of the pram. It's out of our hands.

Anyone remember how desperate we were for Kone to stay.. That didn't turn out well in the end.

What will be will be.

I'm more bothered about the fact after watching them for 10 games (SAFSee and Sky) we've probably just done a full match of decent football. Performances haven't been great and we need to start hitting form.

He's a quality player. I think he'll do well whether it's with us or elsewhere.
