He is at the right place at the right time. I don't know who is his advisor, but if he leaves, he will warm the bench at a club playing in the Championship or will play for U 23 of a Premier league club.
Stay at a team where they trust you and with a manager that likes you and give you great chance to play for a huge club. Playing every week in front of 30 000 + loyal, crazy bastards?
Priceless.
Next year SAFC will be in the Championship and the future won't be so bleak.
But moder footballers are intersted in one thing - money and the fuckin whisper of their greedy agents, destroying the game.
Fuck you, Bosman...

I’d be much more pissed off with Maja if I was Jack Ross

Definitely.

At best he told Ross he was signing in good faith but later changed his mind after reflection or a better offer came in and then told his agent to rescind it?

At worst he deliberately mislead Ross or is a spineless puppet unable to direct his own employee?

I know people might say I'm harsh but I'm a big believer in people taking responsibility for their actions.

Saying "my agent told me not to sign for SAFC" 12 hours after agreeing to sign it reeks of a childish inability to face personal responsibility for your actions.

Maja does not get away with an "it's the agents fault" excuse in my eyes.

We are the kings of throwing our toys out the pram when a player doesn't commit his future and name all his kids after past players. Stewarts openess has opened up a can of worms purely because Social Media can be misconstrued in its context. While our chairman may have been acting in what he thought were the best intentions he forgot that there are a set of total fannies that will use any negativity to drag the club, players and fans back down in the shitty pit we have been in for too many years.

Many players turn down contracts especially talented players that have a chance at the big time (no I don't think he's ready but many players that aren't get big contracts just in case they are the next big thing). There are also players that don't sign purely because the timing isn't right, he holds the cards as does his agent. It's happening with Aaron Ramsay but he is continuing to play and not get any grief.

We are now the soap opera club after STiD, that has some benefits but will have its negatives as well. At the end of the day we are a league one club with an amazing fan base and potential yet we are financially constrained. What will be will be however that's never the case with this club.

To the 3,000 amazing supporters doing that journey tomorrow: please back him, sing his name. Show him what he’d miss if he left.

This, guaranteed his whole family will be there and slagging him off stands a great chance of ending any hope of him signing

No good will come of it if the club still want him to change his mind. Perhaps they can ask about the deadline and if they regret publicising it.

I think it might be more of a case of him trying to get people off Maja’s back to take the pressure off. If he does think he still might sign a contract I can’t imagine half of our fans giving him abuse will put the pen in his hand any quicker. He’s already mentioned it a few times today so it’s a recurring theme.
