Exactly. He’s boxed into a corner now either way with a player telling us he wants to sign the contract he asked for and an agent trying to find another club willing to match what we’ve agreed to with his client.

Now if that includes the hypothetical situation The Hunter gave of another club offering big money to his family as well then that makes his position even worse.

I dont think how donald has handled it has had any effect. The player and tge agents knows what offers are on the table. They have decided to take a better offer. Its all abput money sadly nothibg to do with donald

It's not a state secret that the lad was coming to the end of his contract and entitled to talk to other clubs.
The club offered Maja what was requested by his agent, not much force in evidence there either.
The club were in limbo until Maja actually signed or refused to sign the contract.
At least we know now and not 31st January.
The club can now release the funds earmarked for him to strengthen the squad.
There are plenty of clubs who want to sign a 30 goals a season striker as Maja is on course to be.
We are victim of another shitehawk agent.

Fecking hell why would he be dizzy he has seen what the support us like he postures enough in front of the fans.

To be fair, what did he expect the reaction to he applause, cheers and chants. He changed his mind fair enough, but should have been aware of what the potential reaction could be.

I would think he wouldn’t expect a days worth of everyone going ballistic tbh. He’s done nowt wrong. Defoe did worse and nobody said owt. One second he’s signing. The next his agent has his wage demands all over the biggest sports news outlet in the country and half the fans hate him.

I don't think Donald should have publicised the deadline of today. By all means have a deadline, but no reason to tell everyone about it.
