its not just about money, its about career path in what is best for the player
it should also be about the player showing respect to the club
Not for agents it’s not. Others wise they’d do it for free.

of course he could. Agent acts for Maja and must be assumed to be speaking for him until Maja sacks himIt might not be far off tbf although I think Maja could easily put a stop to it if he wanted to. I just don’t understand why the agent would leak him turning down a 700% pay rise.

There's no reason not to, particularly if Maja wants to keep himself in the shop window. But the whole thing is a pig's arse. Essentially, we have a young man who's been offered what his agent asked for but has now been told he can do better. That's a lot of pressure to put on a 20 year old. That's a bit OTT mate.
You watch. Jack Ross will handle this bang on.
I think he'll play him tomorrow.
Might stand with my hands on my hips and stare him down...If he plays and scores tomorrow, how will fans react to his celebrations. He usually stands with his hands on his hips look at me type of thing.
they work for players but club pays the fee. how does that workNot for agents it’s not. Others wise they’d do it for free.
not for league one no..and thats why he was offered way more than average league one wage..He ain’t average.
very difficult for a player to turn against an agent. I think agent leaking the payrise is a way of showing how cheap his wages will be to a premier league club
4 weeks ago Maja was set for germany, now with this blowing up, would not surprise me it was done with intent of waking up premier clubs.
probably cost about £5 - 8 million in fee and £15,000-20,000 a week in wages. it is a gamble but a smallish gamble

Swansea reportedly had a deal for £200k plus extras rejected. Been a few other rumours, but from my reading of the Ayr stuff it seems they would want £400k and up, simply due to the financial boost they would get from promotion.
Well unfortunately if you want to hold onto talent you have to offer decent wages - fact of lifeDid the new owners offer cattermole that contract when we were trying to sort our finances out? It’s not f***ing difficult to understand really. I haven’t suggested I’m happy Cattermole is on so much and it’s been made clear the owners are delighted with it either.
Does that still go to tribunal if he goes overseas or do we get nothing? I think we’d get more than a million at a tribunal so would put a £3m price tag on his head. Unless he has a change of heart he can’t play for us again, which is a pisser. Club could have played it differently and he could have played out the season and bagged 30 goals (thus increasing the tribunal fee -if he still wanted to leave)
Not necessarily true, look at Wyke, if a club want him they will take him with a knock especially if want him for the future and need to bed him in and blood him in a higher division.
Without a doubt. Would love to be a fly on the wall for that conversation. However, good luck to the lad for the future. He has done well so far this season. Everyone of them can be replaced though, so no tears shed here. It's a test for the manager, but have every confidence in him. Might work out better for us; bring in a player that can step up to the Championship without any question marks.Ross has been really positive about their relationship all week, he must be feeling disappointed with this if Maja told him yesterday he was going to sign
we offered the amount in wages maja wanted...money isnt the issue. simple. what we cant offer is premier league football.Well unfortunately if you want to hold onto talent you have to offer decent wages - fact of life
If you’d rather the players be on peanuts you deserve to be watching monkeys

What an absolute fucked up situation this is. If you believe the statements, Maja told Ross yesterday he wants to sign, 24 hours later his agent tells sky he wants to leave.
Lad needs to grow a pair and tell his agent to fuck himself, or act like an adult and be honest with the club.
Cannot start tomorrow IMO.
if he refuses to play then have to sell him like
