i agree with you in relation to social media use generally by the owner...but in this case he had to spike skys story and there is no quicker way..

Nowt changed for me really. Hope he stays till the end of the season and gets us promoted, don't care if he's here after that or not.

It'll be a miracle if he has a successful Premier League career.

Despite the fact that he specifically says in one tweet that he wants us to stay off Maja's back, and that this is all down to the agent.

It's not that footballers are necessarily dim.
But they are infantilised by agent's control of them.

It is pitiful to see that men in their twenties are so clearly under the thumb of avaricious third parties. You see it all the time. These slimy characters , in past times making a living by parhaps having an arm full of watches under their coat, " should you be interested sir?", are the scabrous cancer that the game tolerates for no other reason than self interest.

SD is quite correct to put the club's position in the open. Otherwise everyone would assume the word of the agent's word was to be trusted.

I’m not really bothered about what he said or how he’s said it. There’s not much logic behind it from what I can tell. Sounds to me like he’s just got something out quick to get in first before Downie took great pleasure in doing it for him.

Tbf I think he’s trying to stop fans turning on him (by saying he wanted to stay but it’s his agents fault).

If you really think those tweets are helpful to the situation and to Jack Ross then I just give up, they just so obviously aren't its not even up for debate.

He might be. I was just genuinely curious as being dyslexic still wouldn't explain why he's written 'meth=ven'. Dyslexia doesn't mean you think symbols go in the middle of words.
