Why doesn't he sack the Fooka then........he wants to sine but his agent doesn't? Fook 'em.......he doesn't want to play he can Fook off now

He didn't say he doesn't want to play. Even in the worst case scenario, he's saying he wants to play for someone else at the end of his contract.

People need to get over themselves. It's never all or nothing, and the more you make it a binary yes or no question, the harder it is to pick up the pieces if the answer isn't to your liking.

As I’ve said I’d be interested to hear the other side of the story, either from the despicable, evil agent or said sky reporter. Or maybe even young Josh himself. Atm we only have Donald’s slightly sensationalist Social Media account in 32 characters and lots of !!!’s. Forgive me for not rushing in to take this at face value just yet
we aso have the sky reporter...who co=rrobaytes what stewart said to some extent..

why was the dealdine unnescesary? if he wants to lebave a replacemtne is needed and we need time tro sign them..we cant wiat until the fianl hiour of the windpow to find out if he is our player..

Why waste a month waiting, needed bring to a heed......

A press release would have been better imo

Not twitter bollocks
Who cares what platform is used? I think it is tremendous the Donald exposes the games agents play. For years and year we have had the piss taken out of us by agents and now we are showing we are not going to accept it lying down. However, you have a problem that it isn't on a press release? Donald is a breath of fresh air. I presume in the good old days of Short we did press releases and you were happier.

who told you the worse case is he wants to play till the end of the summer? thats what i ;hope is happening..but he could say he wants out now..

Take flack off player (he’s already asked fans to get behind him) Put pressure on agent. Make it sound like we are paying players what they want to either appease fans thinking we aren’t offering enough, or make players of other clubs think we will offer them fortunes. Could be anyone of a number of reasons.

Why would a player seek out the manager and specifically ask to sign a contract then fuck off home without saying anything and leave sky to tell the club? He and his agent know the whole deal on the table so I doubt Maja only just spoke to him that night after weeks of not talking to suddenly tell him not to sign. He would have already told him this several times before then.
Wouldn't that open sd up to libel? Im not up on whole law of social media

A public deadline was completely unnecessary. It was posturing and completely in line with the ethos of the ‘piss taking party is over’ line.

A private deadline could have been set. If it wasn’t satisfactorily met then a proper statement could have been released today about Maja’s future explaining the situation. Now it’s a mess and made life difficult for Donald, the manager and the player

Well unfortunately this is the modern game, there’s simply no sentiment involved.
A lot of these players don’t have the brains they were born with they’re basically lead by the nose. The agent couldn’t give a fuck about who he’s playing for or what’s best for his playing career, he just wants Maja to sign a bigger deal somewhere anywhere so he can take a bigger cut.
Aggravating but that’s the way it is, these (unts have the power.

What's the point in that?

We play him until he leaves as long as his attitude is alright.

That's the issue here. We don't know if his attitude and enthusiasm will take a down turn. He could be a model pro and give 100%...or he stop caring and at that point becomes a weight around the team's neck. Interesting to see how this shakes out

Agree to an extent, however if the agent has been contacted by say Tottenham or Man City or arsenal for example then he also has to do the ‘right thing’ by the player. He might not have said ‘don’t sign’ just hold on as there are other options. Who knows? If he signs for a big club fair enough, if he signs for smaller club in a higher division, deserves all the stick he gets

The agent told Sky Sports before telling the club.

Whatever his reasoning, that’s out of order.
