What's your thoughts on it for those who remember it. Was a Lost type phenomenon when it first aired.

Watched first 90 minute episode last night, basically it's a world war 2 story about the resistance fighters, with the aliens replacing the Nazis. Thoroughly enjoyed it, although some of the effects have dated terribly

I thought it was class......mind haven't watched it for 25 years or so but I don't mind shoddy looking effects if the story is good, and also enjoyed the remake - shame it was cancelled actually.

The Mini series and final conflict were great. The actual tv series was bloody awful though.

The remake was really good too but they cancelled it.

Was the talk of the school next day when she swallowed the rat whole. These were the days before spoilers so no-one saw that coming. Then when he pulled her face off!!!!!

Loved back in 83/84 when it came out. I Even enjoyed the series.

ITV decided not to show the Olympics so wen`t out and bought V instead. Remember watching it and then switching over to BBC to see Daley Thompson talking about his potential mixed race offspring with Princess Anne

Can remember I use to record this on me VHS tape. A VHS tape that also contained the 3-2 win over Man U & Flash Gordon film Happy days.

The miniseries was class. Wend downhill every year after that. Ended on a shitty cliffhanger too.
