Jamie Robson apologises for 'blacking up' as African salesman

Bit of a silly thing to do in today’s world, especially after the recent disgusting issues with Sturrige.

However I do wonder if people would moan so much if he went dressed as Homer Simpson ... after all Homers another, non flattering, sterotype

Racist

There can't be anyone in the world who would think a 'looky looky man' is a a stereotypical African any more than John McCririck is a typical Mag.

Sadly both him and looky looky men exist.

Taking the mickey, out of either, isn't racist imo .... witless, shameless and brainless but I can't see how it's racist.

Blacking up is racist. End of argument.

You have to be completely thick not to realise this in this day and age.

showing or feeling discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or believing that a particular race is superior to another. So you actually think this kid was doing that and not just thinking it was funny to dress up like the lucky lucky men they see when there on holiday?

I don't see how a fancy dress costume is discrimination.

I can't see any prejudice.

I can't see how Robson is saying Scottish people are superior to Africans.

I'd be quite happy to be convinced otherwise as I don't consider myself racist in any way.

I have the same opinion and would like to hear the other side as I feel like I am missing something when people cry racist at some things that I cannot seeing be racist, Im open to listing why people think this is racist, there is no denying racism is all over in the world and needs to be stamped out, but to me calling things racist that do not seem to be only makes the problem worse, that may make naïve and stupid in some peoples book I suppose

Looky looky ffs.

learn something new every day I think the saying is, I've always called them lucky lucky men

He’s copied that little girls costume from a few weeks ago (though he’s not done it as well). He’ll be well aware of the fall out from when she did it so he’s clearly thick as fuck or a massive attention seeker, not to mention completely unoriginal.

That’s not racist

I love pulp fiction and was gonna dress up as Jules and black myself up a while ago, only didn’t because I didn’t have a suit to match

I wasn’t being racist at all

everything is f***ing racist these days man its a joke. Nowt wrong with what he's done there like. Might as well ban gorilla suits while we're at it incase they are classed as racist anarl ffs

Looky looky men actually exist, it's a parody and is not racist imo. It'll only be middle class white vegan student freaks whinging about it anyway.
get on your nerves on your holidays
