I know why they’ve done it. I’m not complaining about it. Others are though and I imagine that is why.

I literally said in the post you quoted I don’t give a fuck.
You devoted a paragraph to moaning about it then tagged a "I don't give a fuck about it" on the end. I'd say that's why he quoted you mate.

Fans for years have felt ripped off and it’s the mindset that needs to change. I think a lot of people subconsciously dislike or mistrust the club hierachy despite it fundamentally changing this summer. It’s a scar that will take a while to disappear I believe.
I didn’t take that into account and maybe that’s wrong of me. As I’ve said , the club almost going under affected me perhaps more than it should, bearing that in mind I get maybe more pissed off than I should when I see folk twisting on about how the club should be giving out free this that and the other and now kicking off about the ticket prices for this game. But at some point they will have to come around to the notion that it’s our club and until we get back into the top league and the sky money comes back then we have to cut our cloth accordingly. They need to get familiar with the idea that we aren’t being ripped off, we are trying to live within our means.

I couldn’t care less about the price mate. I’m not going regardless. It was a response to someone saying the price was class and using it as an excuse to have a pop at other fans, when there’s a load of other people who are disagreeing.

FWIW I don’t think £15 is that bad tbh, similar to what you pay to go to the cinema. Others think it’s shit, presumably for the reasons mentioned.

Tbf for a league game £15 would be class. For a game we rest about 8 players to play, where we are playing the mags reserves it’s not so class, especially when all the others have been next to nowt. Not that a really give a fuck like.

Not if you need a membership number to get home tickets.
We are a rare commodity in League 1. We have 3 or 4 players on mega salaries and the overheads and running costs of the SOL must be collosal compared to other clubs in L1. Simple economics I would have thought!

You joking mate? Too obsessed not to jump at the chance

Every reserve game at Sunderland, the travelling away has been mostly daft kids who want to act the big man. This will be no different if they are allowed tickets and unfortunately there’ll be more of them due to current status.
If tickets are only open to the tegularcaway fan then numbers will be a lot lower and the match trouble free.

The prospect of a comfortable win against the mags makes the price irrelevant to me. £5 however would have got 30.000 there

I'm sure early on Methven was questioning our police costs against theirs using the same force

Aye, was it not something to do with who picks the bill up? Anything on club property the club pays, anything on public land is the council? Fucks us over because we own the land around the ground whereas they own fuck all so only pay for policing inside the stadium iirc

Is the club opening up the whole ground or just the east stand ? As that would reduce capacity and added costs..
