Depending on the motivation of the writer and the number of viewers they have I think it could run for a few years yet.
It doesn't feel like it's getting stale, at least not to me. I did binge watch the first 4 seasons though, perhaps those that have watched it as it's aired are feeling fatigue.

A sixth series has already been commissioned. It will have twenty episodes as well and be cut in two like series four and the current series.

One of the history channels tonight kicked off a brand new series documenting the Vikings called Viking Dead. The first episode had the under-title The First Viking Raid on Lindisfarne and it featured how archaeologists have been digging to uncover remains from what they hope will turn out to be the very first raid in 793.
It hasn't got anything to do with Vikings the telly series as such but if anyone would like to watch the episode (and coming ones) let me know and I shall upload them to Google+.

Never understand why people want to fuck about with Kodi when you can watch thousands of hours in HD at the click of a button.
It's worth £6 not to go through the pain of all those add on installs, only to find the link buffers, is awful quality or doesn't play at all.

I have Amazon prime, but its only got a few things on. Do I buy Netflix too, then edit that to get the USA version which is better, and then what about Sky only stuff like GoT?
Kodi is terrible mind (Real Debrid is supposedly class when linked up though). I went back to Torrents ages ago, far far better, and loads pf 4k HDR content, which is what I'm after now - and its far better quality than netflix/amazon's streamed versions
