To make it a true religion they need a dead famous veggie to worship

I love Pizza. Being veggie is a bit of a pain but most places have decent choice these days. Much better than growing up when few places did anything. The USA is pretty bad Vege wise too unless you go to a major city.Oh? So @HellsBells saw you hadn't ate a bacon sarnie and just presumed you were a muslim
How's life as a veggie then? What's your favourite vegetable?
It's is but I have it moderation, need some cheese on my pizza.Dairy is bad mate. I think you should think about going whole hog (excusing the pig based phrase)

Health wise it's much better.
It can be veggie though. I don't just eat vegetables, but I do like my potatoes and chick peas.Mate pizza is not a vegetable.

Sounds rightI predict that, contrary to the BBC report, the tribunal will not "decide whether veganism is a philosophical belief". I predict its judgment will say something like:
1. Mr Casamitjana claims that he was discriminated against on the grounds of his philosophical belief.
2. For the purpose of this judgment, we will assume (without deciding) that veganism is a protected philosophical belief.
3. The test for discrimination on the grounds of a protected characteristic is whether a hypothetical comparator without the protected characteristic would have been treated differently.
4. We find that a person who is not a vegan but disclosed his employer's confidential information to the public would have been sacked for gross misconduct.
5. Therefore the comparator would not have been treated any differently.
6. Therefore there was no discrimination, whether or not veganism is a protected philosophical belief which, as stated, we are not expressing a view on.
7. Case dismissed.
8. Off to the pub.

Maybe Mark Hughes is gonna come out as vegan and blame that for him getting sacked.
Pretty much where I am.Nope. Daughter is and 90% of meals are now vegan. I reckon I will be soon enough.
The arguments for being vegan are compelling to me. Healthier, better for environment and stops the exploitation and suffering of billions of animals.
The killing of them isn't an issue for me, it's the industrialisation of their lives.
Unless fining containing fish guts are used, aye pretty much.Is beer vegan?
As if Mark Hughes minds being sacked.
Pretty much where I am.
Daughters, eh ?
He could always make a claim for not being sacked soon enough:-
Deprived of early pay-off and opportunity to move on to next failure.

Which shit loads of beers use. The trend for hazy beers has massively increased the number of vegan friendly beers.Unless fining containing fish guts are used, aye pretty much.
Nice tho init?1) Humans are the only animal to drink the milk of a completely different species. Would you drink dog milk ?
2) Dairy was sold on a false prospectus. The argument used to go "if you don't drink dairy, you get calcium deficiency and it affects your bones". Which is utter bullshit. Elephants require stronger bones than humans and yet they manage to get enough calcium while not needing the milk of giraffes, or anything.
3) Cow farts are a significant contributor to global warming.
4) Clearing of forests for cattle is a major cause of deforestation.
5) Cow's milk is designed to feed a cud-chewing animal with four stomachs, which grows a lot faster than a human being. Is this really the right stuff to be ingesting ?
6) Even with pasteurisation, milk isn't particularly sanitary. Mastitis, somatic cells, pus... that kind of thing...
