Didn’t that Take That tour a few years back not break all records for ticket sales?

I’m not sure the nostalgia for 4/5ths of this band would be up there?

Yeah think Take That did.

I think a lot of people forget / were too young to remember, just how big the Spice Girls were. They were a global phenomenon.
These Nostalgia gigs are cash cows. Look at how many people go to see the Stone Roses etc, it’s nowt to do with current credibility or relevance, just a good excuse to relive your youth with pissed up mates.
It’d be a guaranteed sell out in my opinion.
 

SJP is not able to stage large gigs due to access issues getting onto the pitch. In addition, there is a lack of parking outside for the 30-40 trucks that are used to carry the equipment.

Sheeran last year only required a small stage and hence why they could host the gigs.

They’ve had them in the recent past though haven’t they? Kings of Leon and Bryan Adams spring to mind.
