They're not my type of thing at all but I saw the Spice Girls at one of their O2 comeback shows about 10 years ago. I went along with the attitude that it'd be crap but I'd maybe like it in an ironic way, but in all honesty and I had a top night and really enjoyed it.

Ha that's what I saw earlier , still can't see Sunderland been on the list but can hope.

London Manchester and Bristol were only places mentioned
Matt Bellamys dad is from Sunderland, be unreal to see Muse at the Sol.

Metallica
Foos
Possibly Iron Maiden if not playing loads of gigs
Muse
Beyoncé some how
Lady Gaga some how
Liam Gallagher possibly if not too many shows
Those lasses from South Shields wouldn’t be far off
Maiden without a doubt!

I'm going to be at the SOL if they do come so I'm hoping they don't.

I can’t see the spice girls being that big a draw mesel like.

I’d have thought it be huge. These big nostalgia tours are generally big events. If say for example the opening night of the tour was Sunderland the worlds media would be there.

Are them down the road not doing gigs again after the Sheeran stuff last summer?

SJP is not able to stage large gigs due to access issues getting onto the pitch. In addition, there is a lack of parking outside for the 30-40 trucks that are used to carry the equipment.

Sheeran last year only required a small stage and hence why they could host the gigs.
