Gigs back at sol

300-400k profit isn’t bad for a gig or 2

Maybe it is because i am some deluded leftie. But unless it was losing money i think the club has a duty to the city and community and these gigs were great for both.

Radiohead
Muse
Eminem

Any of the above please.

My lady is a fan, i tried to get tickets for Twickenham. Cheapest one was 140 quid. That said both Fleetwood Mac and Billy Joel are both performing in London and the tickets are extortionate.

Looks like they are currently knocking a new album together with unused tracks from the Black Ice/Rock or Bust recordings.

Assuming they got it done and released by spring that would coincide perfectly with a summer stadium tour. Brian Angus Phil Stevie and someone to fill in on Bass since Cliff Williams called it a day at the end of the last tour. Would be lethal nonetheless.

May be a whole load of rubbish but if true I’d expect an announcement very soon.
I think a big part of Cliff calling it a day was that the band didn't look like the same band anymore - he might decide otherwise if Rudd and Johnson are back.

Good point, would be good if he came back. I can’t really judge Axl as I only have only seen them twice with Brian. He sounded alright with GnR the other year.

Any ideas when they’ll be announced ?

Before Christmas I’d guess.
