Just really shows how small time they are. Because he is an elite manager that is out of their league, hasn't won a game all season and they blame the owner...what in actual fck

Football fans are weird aren't we? We hate Pardew even though he got us fifth, and you's hate Bruce even though he achieved your 3rd highest league finish in the last 80 years.
We really didn't have any hatred until well after he was gone and he started to blame his roots etc for losing his job. We wanted him gone because his record for the best part of a year was hideous. Pardew was seriously disliked no matter what was happening on the pitch. In fact the same lads who couldn't stand him at the time don't mind saying he did a canny job.

Nobody wanted Pardew out at the time of finishing fifth. It was the following season when we nearly got relegated when the discontent started

Some turning on raffa

“Your right Kerry rafa picked the team, but when he has no opinions to pick from he try’s his best with what he’s got, it’s not ragas fault he has to play Perez who is utter garbage”

Erm aye it is, he got shot of Gayle & Mitrovic

It's a weird one this clinging to the waiter.

It's not just that they celebrate him. We've seen that here with Keane, MON for a while, and other managers at other clubs have also been revered. But this only really happens when they have achieved something either remarkable or unexpected. Keane getting us up as champions after being around 17th in mid November was both, as was MON's blistering first four months or so. Nothing lasts forever though.

The waiter could be said not to have taken that lot down. But he couldn't prevent it, (despite a propitious set of fixtures), which was presumably why he was hired at enormous expense. A promotion was achieved which was a good effort, although also at huge expense compared to the two who came up with them. But Villa spent even more so it still deserves some credit. Staying up was also a decent effort following a good winter window, but really not any more than many , less celebrated managers have done elsewhere.

Thay are in the shite at the moment and any other club's fans would now be asking serious questions about the manager, even if a change is not the right thing to do, as it sometimes isn't. (It may not be here IMO, as I can't see them getting a better one). But he is idolised still. Whatever he does is right, even when it is plainly not. This kind of thing is coming from people I know who are old enough to know better, and it is weird. It's as if they are frightened to lose the attachment to a "big name". He is a comfort blanket.

They might be okay -there are a lot of ordinary teams in the bottom eight or so- but clearly they have to win a couple of games sharpish. But even if they survive, it will be the same again next season unless there is an almighty upheaval there, and they will probably be without their Messiah, who will have gone to th next stage of the roundabout.

Some one get the Kool Aide ready.

Over his term as mag manager I've heard him reffered by termed by the rotund... as being a "genius"... "miracle worker" world class ... the natural successor to for Bobby. Yet the penny can't defy gravity much longer and you can only chuck sop much blame at fat mike

To be honest, you ruined peardew. He was a decent manager before he joined you idiots. You'd try the patience of a saint. How many great managers have you hounded out....dog leish, peardew, mullet, ghostly Bobby, BSA, Houghton. You even wrecked wises managerial career before it started. Ypu really are a hunch of cretin mag dic splashes.

So Pardew "nearly " got you relegated and is reviled.
Whilst Benitez has already relegated you once and looks like doing it again is adored?
You couldn't f***ing make this shit up if you weren't a mag.
