The really annoying this is despite them not winning a game and only having 2 points just one win would have them out of the relegation zone. Shame there are so many other shit teams aswell as them.

Me too, I'd be quite happy to never play them again.

Providing Fulham and Southampton lose to Cardiff and Bournemouth.

On the other hand Cardiff will see a home game, against Fulham, as the chance to move off the bottom.

Southampton play Newcastle, at home, after that and a defeat could see the Mags having to trudge all that way back at the bottom of the table.

I wouldn’t get too carried away yet. Look at who they’ve played and apart from Leicester they’ve only lost by one goal - no thrashings so far, apart from in possession. I hope i’m Wrong but I think they’ll get out of it.
I personally think that makes it worse. They’re weak minded and can’t overcome one goal deficits or concede late on

Dont mind winning them though:lol: hate the build up.

I actually, in a strange sort of a way, enjoy the build up. The days of concentrating even less at work, the butterflies in the stomach. Obviously they're really shit games to lose but when something has been built up as much as a derby and then we win it's almost unrivalled.

That's why we all love football, most games are fairly nondescript but every so often there's a huge goal, the type that has you out of breath with celebration; Johnson against the mags, Bardsley against man united, the biggest goals are always better when they're in important games. For me the risk of losing a derby is worth it for the excitement of having one. Cup finals are bigger than derbies, but we all know how infrequently we have them. When we were in the Championship we were hardly blessed with massive games, massive occasions. Give me the excitement and interest of a derby game any day over a game against Huddersfield or whoever. I'd always rather have the build up and the excitement of a derby rather than have a season with hardly any big games to look forward to until, possibly, some end of season games with a lot riding on them

We went through all this last season and they ended up finishing 10th.
after 6 or 7 games last season they were 4th on 12 points and still managed to briefly drop into the bottom 3,a nice run of 4 winable games helped them no end similar to what they have coming up now,we will know better after these games,a minimum 6 points needed which is about what i expect them to get, luckily for them cardiff are so bad they wont get 20 points and huddersfeild wont get 30,its 1 from the other 5 or six imo, bournemouth, watford, leicester, west ham, wolves, fulham will be fine

They beat Man Utd over 70 minutes.

Just about any team would have scored against Man Utd in that first half. Their own manager was subbing players off because they were so bad.
Once they all had a cuddle at half time, they started playing. As has been said, Brighton at the weekend is almost a must win game.
I doubt they get relegated, but its fun while it lasts.

I don't understand why everyone seems so convinced they will stay up. I've seen nowt in the mags that makes me think they are any better than the rest of the teams that league apart from Huddersfield and Cardiff.

If it was us second bottom with 2 points having not won a game 90% on here would have us relegated by Christmas.

Providing Fulham and Southampton lose to Cardiff and Bournemouth.

Good points, lets hope so.

10th you say? Hmmm. Isn’t there a SuperHero available who’s capable of getting teams to tenth?
I didn’t think about that. When Rafa goes they are going to get Bruce in aren’t they.

Imagine if they did go down with a rice going there and us promoted. There would be hell on during the Derby.

One win away from being out of the bottom 3. Easier fixtures upcoming. They've played Arsenal, Chelsea, Man united, Man city and Leicester who are no slouches. Personally I hope they stay up as if they come down it will be much harder for us to get promoted should we go up this season. No matter what people say Benitez is no mug and will guide them to safety
