Haha....just pointing out that many on here had the mags relegated by Christmas last season. Personally I don't think they will be anywhere near going down.
I think they had 11 points at this time last season if my googling was correct, 9 points down already and they played a few teams on who were already on the beach at the end of the season, ive no clues if they will stsay up our go down but one thing is for sure, they need to start picking the points up now, they also had 14 points after 10 games so there defiantly going to be behind what they did last season with over a quarter of this one gone

How many of that lot are actually mags
I know one of them 100% isn’t as I was at Bradford with him last week!
A few mag supporters will not like this mind ;) super collin todd, Philsafc, the rat, chriswallace, smiler, safc 2012 ....I would have stuck mr David in there but we have mutual friends so I will let him off.
You can remove SAFC 2012 from your list of mags because I know the lad, mlf and goes home and away.

They will comfortably beat Brighton on Saturday.

They will be fine.
It was a ''knocking bet" that they were going to beat Man U, also read on here.

Regardless, if they manage to beat Brighton and secure their first win at the ninth time of asking, they still require a huge turnaround in form to be "fine".

Clubs in unrest go down very easily. Especially ones that can't score goals.

We, of all fans, should know that especially.

I can't believe his negativity then? Surely going home and away as I do would give him that sense that things are on the up after everything we have been through... genuinly baffled

Brighton h is a tough game to predict.
They'll play it cagey but if they take the lead, the skunks will struggle to break them down.
1-1 draw for me.

They will finish above Cardiff & Huddersfield not sure who else mind.

I don't want them to go down, they'll start the summer with a much better squad than we do. Maybe the year after that will be ok

I remember there were people saying they'd be fine, because there were too many bad teams, the last two times they've been relegated.

The last time they went down they had a better team than this one imo, Benitez just couldn't get them playing.

It's ironic that they had 'nothing to lose' at Man Utd and went 2-0 up because they attacked.

As soon as they did have something to lose Benitez reverted to his legendary brilliantly organised caution ...

.... and they lost

It's really strange this inbuilt bias towards the Mags some of our fans have.

Rather than being objective about them they're subjective and put them on some sort of pedestal, bigging them up and predicting wins for them that no ordinary person using logic would.

How often do teams lose every single game against the big clubs? Usually you'd take at least a lucky draw from that type of run of games, especially if it's all you play for!

Leaving themselves in a position where they are gonna have to beat the teams around them at home and not lose away. Could see it being low 30s for survival mind, which would help them but make for a pretty miserable season.

It’s much harder to get out of it when your already mired in it and have become used to losing. As we know.

The positive for them I think is this year the bottom looks really bad and Cardiff especially will not pick up many points at all. A run of 5 games with something like 3 wins and a draw and you’re right out of it and I think they are probably organised enough to scrape something like that. Will be tight though and awful viewing for the pasty munchers

I think it's the 'jinx factor' creeping in, people really believe what they say affects performances on the pitch.

Newcastle look a very disjointed team, Benitez continually says they're not good enough and the club are in even more disarray than usual.

There's no way they're 'fine' and will simply click into gear imo.

Agree.

They're in a mess.

We know from bitter experience where it goes from here.

Let them stick their heads in the sand.
