No. But would be funny if he did.

Rodgers would be an awful.appoontment. Ashley would give little money to spend and he hasn't really set the spl alight this season which would be a worry. It is the worst start to a campaign since John Barnes??? Ouch.
No excuses for failing up there but his time looks up unless he wins the Europa but they got smashed in their last game too.

Speaking totally hypothetically, just consider the following.

Ashley is adept at cutting his nose off to spite his face.

Remember I posted, a month before it happened, that he didn't appreciate being made to look a dope by Staveley and that he'd pull out of the deal.

Benitez is doing the bare minimum, criticising the club & players and 'risking relegation'.

Would Ashley risk relegation, reduce the club's value and see Benitez walk off grinning with the continued adoration of the Mags :confused:
