Yes, yes, and no- still sounds punky as fuck and excellent for gym tunes. Plus I dare say if I've imbibed a few, and feeling a bit lairy, I may jump about to it

Took my niece to see them a few years back and it was her first gig, think she might have been twelve. She was ridiculously excited as well.
She's probably been to more gigs than me now.:lol:

I hope this is just the start for my daughter. I'm over the moon that she is into music. I'm happy to take her to see anyone, but I've told her I'm not taking her to see Oasis if they get back together!

I’ve seen a video of them doing Mardy Bum and it sounds terrible.

Standing on Friday, can’t wait for it. Not a huge fan of their most recent album, but the 1st 2 are still excellent, as is AM.

It was all part of my long term masterplan. I gave her an iPod when she was younger and whilst I put Disney Princesses and Kylie etc on it, I mainly filled it with my music.:lol: She is now right into her music and goes to gigs every week.
I've taken her to see Johnny Marr and Madness but I probably wouldn't know half the bands she sees with her mates now.

As I've said I'm seating which is a bit of a killer but hopefully get on the standing. last time I saw Arctic monkeys was 2009 and they were excellent and at the time I wasn't a massive fan of humbug.

I saw them on the AM tour and they were excellent, even though I was stuck in the seats
 
Saw them in london a few weeks ago.

I'm a big fan generally, but they just seem to be trying too hard at the minute

They're finding it difficult, or maybe just deciding against, playing their old stuff at the same intensity or pace as they used to.

Have seen them plenty of times in the past and know what they're capable of live - maybe that's why I came away feeling disappointed
