He does have some decent players to work with but it doesn't fit with the mag agenda against Ashley.

They will stay anyway, it won't be pretty but they're definitely better than 3/4 teams minimum in the PL and tbf Benitez is a far better manager than many on here give him credit for.
 
Overheard a couple of mags in Hebburn the other day saying Rafa is better than Keegan cos he loves the clean sheet and has won the European Cup!

I think he is a very decent manager not amazing not world class but very decent.

He sets his teams up not to get beat first and foremost that's why they never seem to get hammered.

They do have a decent starting 11 and 4 or 5 players after that the rest after that aren't the greatest.

The mags just seem to go way overboard with benitez. Last season expecially the second half of it when they were winning a few more games they went on like he was the best manager in the world it was a little embarrassing tbh.

My point is to them this seasons squad isn't much different in quality to last seasons so they should finish a few places above the bottom 3 if they believe in their so called world class manager

He had a real meltdown, Ryder actually said Benitez should be above criticism and then having a go at anyone who said Benitez wasn’t above criticism. :lol:
 
I don't think anyone should criticise Wafa. He will be found out hopefully too late to save them. Haway the Airport owners...

Loads of my mates and colleagues are getting sick of it. Reactionary people though. The kind of divvies who booed the team off at half time vs Wolves in the championship when we'd just won 6 matches on the bounce and only 3 days earlier recorded a 6-0 away win.

These lads were my age, and didn’t really come across as reactionary to be honest. They wouldn’t be happy if he left, but they also said he shouldn’t be beyond reproach.
