We’ve said that before and they always pull out results. Thought they were down and out last Christmas and they finished 10thUnlikely they'll pick up another point until their home game with Bournemouth mid November when they might scrape a nil nil
I suspect this isn't far from the truth but the shop shouters have made their minds up and won't budge. It's all Ashley's fault. No blame will ever be attributed to the parker of buses.Benitez doesn't want Ashley to give him the money the supporters are demanding ..... that's my honest opinion.
If Ashley gave him the money he'd then be expected to finish higher than tenth.
His transfer activity has been erratic and it's very easy to blow £50 million or whatever, he's done that before.
He'd also be expected to commit to a new contract, something I don't believe he wants to do.
He's just playing the martyr, lining up his excuses if he takes Newcastle down again and biding his time until he can walk.
Kim Jong-un reckons he's never lost a match.Anybody know what Benitez's Newcastle record is but premier league only though, win percentage wise?
The dream team would be Benitez upstairs on the double decker directing traffic and Holloway driving.I think Benitez wants out and Ashley wants rid. The contract ending in the summer is convenient for both.
I think one of the reasons Benitez agreed to stay on in 2016 was that certain promises were made and not delivered.
From Ashley's point of view he's got a manager who is causing him nowt but bother. Unless the club is sold before the summer (very unlikely) then it'll be Benitez leaving and probably end up with somebody like Ian Holloway

MagI've got Burnley, Huddersfield and Cardiff to go down in a relegation treble so I hope the Mags finish 17th.

Couldn't really give a toss about the mags, I want Sunderland to do well, that's all that matter to me.
I want Sunderland to do well too, absolutely my priority. That doesn’t mean I can’t want the Mags to implode too thoughCouldn't really give a toss about the mags, I want Sunderland to do well, that's all that matter to me.
They'll sit in against Palace to stop Zaha getting behind them. They're possibly the worst side in the league to watch as a neutral.
not according to the radio I had the misfortune of hearing. Stale, dull, uncompetitive, boring were some of the words used to describe both sides iirc.

Aye but the goal difference man!And got just as many points as you lot
It’s easy this game
The mags will win one of the next 2 games imo they aren't as bad as some on here make out. Players like shelvey, lascelles, rondon, yedlin, diame, Kennedy, ki, Ritchie the keeper are all half decent premier league players.
This what baffles me when the mags go on about benitez. He acrually has some decent players to work with
spectacularly bad this season.I don't rate Kenedy as all - vastly overrated. He has been garbage this season so far.
