Ronaldos sending off

Just find him a petulant little shit tbh. The whole international "retirement" was pathetic and he always seems to have his toys out the pram like a child.

I also think the continued use of growth hormone is unfair. I know he has a deficiency, but his treatment allows him to have absolute peak levels of GH. No way on earth will every other footballer be at that peak of GH levels. Totally unfair advantage, as GH has a massive effect when it comes to professional athletes.
The Barca blood doctor pep is using at city as well

Does that growth hormone improve your technique or dribbling, shooting and ability to read the game?

Potentially, yes. It mas a massive effect on the body, especially on the brain and general well being of the body. Have a read up on it. Next question?

If it's not illegal (well known about Messi using it) then why aren't other players? I'd guess they would be

Because Messi has been given special dispensation to use it due to his GH deficiency. It is on the list of banned substances and until recently was very hard to detect in a urine sample.

Let's be honest, if it was Neymar we'd all say it was a red card and how much of a spoiled brat he is. But because it's Ronaldo all the FIFA fan boys are crying into their knocked off Ronaldo tops. It'll be the same if it was Messi. Grow up ffs!

Sutton's such a prick...

Former United defender Rio Ferdinand tweeted that Juventus have "surely got to appeal this", but former Celtic forward Chris Sutton said Ronaldo had "only himself to blame... definite red".

The ref didn't see the incident and was going on the word of his assistant so he had a decsison to make, send him off or overule the assistant without having seen what happened.

He did what all refs would have done.

He goes out his way to be controversial. Terrible pundit, Sutton that is.

Don't see the issue either way.
Yes, it looked a harsh sending-off but that's just how it goes - people have been sent off for 'next to nowt' countless times over the years.

Don't think of it as 'karma' in any way - already been pointed out (by What A Waster) that Rooney was deservedly sent off against Portugal - just cos it was England doesn't mean rules shouldn't apply.
And so what if Ronaldo was pleased (about Rooney) , Why wouldn't he be?
