The clear lack of intelligence and the bigger picture on your part, staggering.

International sportsmen in a street brawl and you think the organisation of that sport should do nothing!!

You can’t see that a message needs to be sent out, that street brawls are unacceptable for any top profile sportsman?

I can’t work out whether you too thick to see that or your total clear bias towards Stokes clouds your judgement.

Mate it happened over a f***ing year ago, he has already missed a f***ing ashes tour for it

Its an absolute farce that this is still going on, your failure to see that makes you the thick one here, nobody else

The ECB are the ones desperate to keep it in the spotlight, another 2 to 3 months for a hearing, its pathetic

its over, why they can't move on I will never know

He's lost sponsorship, missed an Ashes tour, missed other tests and ODI games, and been found not gulity, and it happened over a year ago

But aye the ECB need to set a trial date for another 2 months away

Its an absolute embarrassment, and shows how far behind the times the ECB are.

The courts have dealt with it and found him not guilty. The ECB made him miss the Ashes a year ago basically a test match ban. It's absolutely hideous behaviour from the utter clowns at the ECB. Stokes and Hales should tell them to get fucked. Not guilty is fairly easy to understand. The ECB are desperate for a bit more attention, they're an embarrassment to the game of cricket. Complete utter set of wankers every single one of them. They need to move and and maybe fanny on with their stupid 100 ball shit

Hway they have to be seen to send out a message that you can’t get a a drunken brawl at 2 o’clock in the morning in the middle of a one day series.

While I agree nobody wants it in the spotlight again and we just want to see Stokes back to playing cricket, surely you can see they could not just ignore it and do nothing?

Your lack of awareness is staggering, surely you can see the difference between been found guility of a criminal offence and bringing the game into disrepute?

Nobody is disputing the not guilty offence!!,

Do you honestly think it’s ok for a international sportsman to be in a drunken brawl in the early hours of the morning in the middle of the series?

For people like you to accept that our top England cricketers should not been getting pissed and getting into fights in the early hours of the morning in the middle of the series.

And for that person (Stokes) to come out and apologise for his behaviour.

The ECB had no choice but to send out a message thats not how top players should be behaving.

Once again mate, nobody’s wants this to continue or for it to be back in the spotlight.

Like I said in my opening post the players should just take their punishment and just let this die.

What part of "not guilty" do you not understand? Its over. He's a free man and should be allowed to get on with his life.

I'll take the decision of the courts. Stokes has suffered enough. Folk need to move on from this now and let the lad crack on. Only seems to be you and the ECB bothered about it. If i was him I'd just tell the ecb to sod off and just go freelance T20 and earn a fortune

The organisation of any sport has a duty to show that a message has to be sent out

That attitude always puzzles me as well, he is playing for his country not the ECB, doing that would only hurt England supporters who have spent their hard earned money to go watch the England team.

Stokes plays for England not the ECB.

Just take his punishment like a man and get on with it, all of us want to see him play for England.
