Like I say I'm amazed that you wouldn't think it's outrageous but fair play for being honest!

The comment mentioned on the OP is many levels below that like. Daft comment from a daft, probably pissed, lad who thinks he's being funny. The thread title is a disgrace, makes it sound like we have some recurring racism problem, as opposed to having a few daft knackers making stupid comments, same as every club in the land

Black people aren’t behind white people on the evolutionary scale, nobody seriously believes that.

In all honesty I agree with you on the Bale/Rooney thing. Racism amongst black people towards white people does happen, and I agree you never hear prominent figures speak out against it but then it’s probably because white people used racism to undermine black people and make them slaves/second class citizens whereas black on white racism is just a pure insult, with no oppression. Maybe the reason people don’t like the monkey term when used against black people though is probably because it was something used to describe their race as being secondary to white people for however many hundreds of years, up until the 1970’s in the mainstream. Something tells me it’s still a bit of a sore topic for those who suffered and still suffer with racism now...

Because racism to white people doesn’t have the same historical connotation of opresssion.

A black person calling a white person a cracker should be treated in the same way as any other form of racism. However I’ve never heard any minority using racial slurs in this country towards white people.

Unless we class infidel as a racial slur, as I’ve heard that sort of talk from our jihad wankers in this country.

I’ve seen it on American media etc all of the time, but that is a completely different country with a much more highly charged racial narrative.

I’m not really sure you understand racism at all tbh. I’ve seen you drawing parallels between bale/Rooney and black people being called monkeys

You should have a read about it and you might learn why they are completely different.

It is absolutely disgusting not only to see one of our fans behaving like that, but to also see people on here defending blatant racism without reservation, not least a so called "historian" for SAFC.

I am wondering how the fat bald gammon twat has not been banned for these vile outbursts because surely explicit racism is against the board’s T&C. It’s not okay and it’s not even got any kind of coherent mantra or logical debate in it either. The bloke is just filled with hate.

Given that it simply means non-believer in Arabic, not really. It's applied to non-Muslims of all races, and they hate apostates (people who have lapsed from Islam, or fail to follow their own crazed Wahhabi doctrine) even more.

Which was my point really. As you’re hard pressed to find examples of minorities being racist to white people in this country.

Yet there are marches ever year across the country showing the opposite being apparent
