I knew for a fact Honeyman and Cattermole together by themselves in the middle would be a disaster. Thought we should have had 1 striker upfront with Maguire behind them rather then 2 to start.

Not sure if mt solutions would have been any better but I did have problems.

Fair enough I thought personally that that starting 11 would be too strong for burton and it might have been if most of our team didn't have a shocking game
 

He's a young manager who will make mistakes. As soon as I saw we were going to play 433 I knew we were in for a rough ride today as we don't have the right midfield players to do it. However the stick he's got on here is pathetic and cringeworthy some people should hold their heads in shame :oops:

The OP referred to the manager, I was not talking about the players and owners, nor about "fans" suggesting it's a positive that one of our players is injured. And in answer to your question, yes, you do.

In your opinion; he mad a massive, massive balls up with selection and has now failed to meet the footballing goliath's of Oxford, Fleetwood and Burton.

Give yer head a shake lad, he's not The Messiah, he's just an unproven novice used to managing in an absolute dog-shit level standard of football.

And we've been very lucky to get wins vs Gillingham and Wimbledon and Charlton who all could (and should) have been out of sight.
 
He’s got a very good budget to work with and the last 3 performances (never mind results) have been below average. We were lucky to get 2 points. I’m not buying into this adjustment shit, Barton is doing a much better job at Fleetwood with much less resources.
 
I don't think its so much todays defeat that has lead to the criticism. Its more the culmination of a few poor displays, the goals conceded and the fact there has only been 2 or 3 convincing performances all season.

Unfortunately as much as I hate that tw&t, you are right.
 
He deserves praise when he makes the calls to get us the win and shit when it was horrendous like today.

Poor system. We were best from minute one.

Giving the armband to honeyman is a big one mind.

This is exactly right and he remains a bright young manager who will need support. Rather that than the old school clueless buggers who have managed us recently. Last three games are a worry but the meltdown mob need to f***ing grow up.

We lost today to a club with a decent manager whose been there years. Ross has had two months with virtually a completely new squad. That can’t be underestimated as a problem. And only a couple of that squad are a step up from the players in other league one teams. We are going to have a very tough season but I believe we will do it.

Still... some who always want someone to slag off will be happy tonight that they’re back in their ‘who can we blame’ comfort zone.
