Can't you remember their attendances too, wasn't 5,000,000 screaming Geordies I know that for nowt.

Everybody had an upswing in attendances in the 90s compared to the late 70s and 80s. Look at the 20 odd thousand extra that started going to Sunderland when the SoL was built.
That coupled with a decent side is bound to be seeing a surge in attendance figures

So if Sports Direct and Ashley's other businesses suffer, he will have less money to subsidise NUFC, great thinking mag fans.

Correct me if I'm wrong but he's willing to sell the club but nobody wants it because the supporters are all arseholes.

The daft bastards think they're making a difference  Also I wouldn't leave my dog with that strange looking ****

good points made. 1. It’s our club. It’s up to us to take action if we want change 2. Since online campaign against Sports Direct, share price has dropped from £4.10 to £3.74 3.

and probably Rangers fans will attend SD AGM next week
Aye Tom you and your ilk has caused the drop in share prices, you thick shit.

True but I've never lied about our attendances

1 shithole,
2 hours,
200 people,
400 pints of pisswater
And an unknown amount of gravy stains later.

The mags grand plan is to shout at a different shop.

There WILL be a protest opposite the club shop at St James’ Park (over the road) before the Arsenal game on Saturday 15 September. Further details to come, but we’d love you to join us. We need your support.

POPCORN AT THE READY

It's worth something like £2bn isn't it? So they are claiming standing on Northumberland Street on a Saturday afternoon has knocked something like £200m off the value of Sports Direct?

We don't own Kenedy. How much did Richarlison cost Everton? Is your argument that Player B was a bad purchase, because Player A cost less and has done better so far? Because that's pretty is an unsurprisingly twisted way of looking at actual reality.

Mitrovic scored for one of the best attacking teams in the Championship. I honestly cannot believe you're comparing the two players. Talk about ignoring things to suit an agenda.

He actually said
“Benitez plays defence and counter-attack,” Mitrovic told the Mail. “I tried to give my best but it wasn’t me.

“I was just running and getting in the team shape. He told me what he wanted and I tried but I am 90 kilos and if I run so much defensively I have no power left when I am in the box. He knew I couldn’t play in that style and I felt it too.

“Defensively he was one of the best and you can see that when they play, but personally I like to be close to the opponents’ box. I need crosses and service.”

Are you conflating possession stats with goals? We've not been beaten by more than 1 goal in the league and we've face Spurs, Chelsea and Man City. And we've scored against them all, too.

"Why spunk your budget on potential"? Well, most managers look to younger player with potential to become better than they are, and their cost reflects their potential. He also signed Murphy last summer, not this one. And that's important to recognise. Also it's because Benitez hasn't been allowed to buy the more expensive finished article despite being promised "every penny the club generates". Even if you discount the tv money, the commercial revenue, the prize money, NUFC made a profit in the summer window, how's that spending every penny?

I think a sit in silence for a game on Sky would have some impact. No noise or clapping for 90 minutes other than at the end of the half and full time. Show Ashley has sucked the life out of the club???

But if it's staged and forced, surely he hasn't sucked the life out of the club?

More abusing teenagers on zero hour contracts.

Stay classy.
Nah they've got that noncey looking fella (not Michael Martin or Lee Ryder) to give them sweets. They're on their side
