Yes it will change position. Have a look at Stellarium. You can speed it up and see the stars and planets moving.

How do you explain that the Earth was proved to be a globe 2,500 years before NASA was even thought of? Yet apparently they are the ones who decided to invent a globe Earth and convince every other government and global organisation who could dispute it if they were lying not to let the cat out of the bag.

I think I’m being told the truth, because when it comes to the shape of the earth you can observe and measure yourself and from what I have personally seen only a globe makes sense. A flat disc is impossible.

No I don’t feel like I’m spinning, but then we are used to the feeling of being on a lump of rock spinning at a RPM of 0.0006964. To be honest, that is not that fast.

Rational yes, why not?

The stars are moving and ancient records show some of the differences. ESAs mission Gaia is measuring the speed of billions of stars in great detail and should give some interesting results in terms of determining our position in space.

Here's a video of the stars "spinning" around the north celestial pole. Its our rotation that makes it look like they're doing that.

They are in the same position relative to each other which may be why you think that.

It's only in the last year that I discovered the term "flat earthers" was actually a thing and not a euphemism for being stupid.

Surely if the earth was flat then it wouldn't be daylight somewhere on the planet and night somewhere else if the sun is in the sky and 93m miles away?

Use your critical thinking. Do you think you have anywhere near a grasp on the laws of physics that explain those things when you don't even have enough of a grasp on the English language to use the word "you're" correctly?

Flat earthers believe that the sun is 3,000 miles away or less - i.e. closer than New York. That makes sense.

A sun that big would be burning out very quickly so how do they explain that?
