Im not watching thf i was just basing on the score

Bad shots or good bowling or both??

They've bowled well to be fair, but we're not batting well in our home conditions. Jennings got a snorter, Root never settled and was a matter of time, Bairstow and Cook got decent balls but were avoidable.

Buttler edges one he's trying to leave but the keeper drops it.

Cook got a decent ball? Are you drunk?

Cook got a decent ball??? It was a horror dismissal after all the graft he’d put in.

They have bowled well mind.

Decent I said, not unplayable. Bit wide mebbes but he'd been pushing it across him really nicely, bad shot though. Only really Jennings got a snorter and was probably unavoidable, and even then he got himself into a right mess.

It's just all round poor.

As above, in the spell it was a nice set up and just push one a bit wider and get him to follow. Probably should have said it was a nice series, rather than the ball on it's own.

It was a very poor dismissal particularly after how hard he’d worked against the new ball.

Would’ve been a good toss to lose in hindsight.

I think you had to bat, and I don't think India's top 6 would have given it away like this either.

Ball has done nothing for the last half hour, problem is we're 6 down!

Yep. And if Pope was there we'd have 5.

Supports what I've been saying. Burns and pick an opener type at no 3. I'd have had Jennings but he's probably shot now.

I think Burns is the three. He can weigh anchor and let the shotmakers play around him.

Anyone disagree Bayliss has to go after this?

You can make an argument for it. But he's fulfilling his brief isn't he? Which is not connected to the test team, but more ODI focused. I honestly think we could be the best ODI team of all time.

What I would say is: I'd like to know exactly what it is Ramprakash is doing. I'd peddle him because I think a message needs to be sent.

And you can look at him two ways, can't you? You can say - no mate, coaches don't do much, no point. To which I say, well why the fuck are we paying handsomely to do nothing?

Or you can say he makes a difference, if not technically, then at least tactically/mentally in terms of the mindset he tries to encourage from our batsmen. That's the way I see it: too much of this "play your game, be yourself, let's play attacking cricket - that's our brand". Well, bollocks: you can't play attacking cricket very often in England because of the moving ball: that's the rope the Aussies keep hanging themselves on.
