That is the great conundrum that the FTECB are trying to square from the year 2020 onwards.Would it not be better for them to schedule the competitions so they don't clash? Or is that not possible?
In some regions of the world they would gladly do away with tests to accommodate more T20.
Then we have the fifty over games and the championship.
Having watched the T20 in the windies the crowds are very low, so that's basically being atelevision advertisement run comp and would be nothing without Gayle, Sammy, Pollard and the likes.
It's what the FTECB want to set up over here with 8 franchises, which would shut out Durham from playing but they can cherry pick our better players to play for the franchises in Yorkshire and Lancashire
