It really baffles me the argument that someone who has scored runs at 4,5,6 in the order need to bat in the exact same postition to get the best out of them.
Does one place in the middle order make that much difference? people like Bairstow,Root,Stokes etc have scored runs in the past because they are quality players and there have been times when they have been in great nick.
Surely them are the reasons they have scored runs not because they happened to bat 5 instead of 6 or vice versa.
Form and quality are surely more important than the actual postition in the order?
