Bayliss has had four f***ing years to sort out the batting and if anything it's got worse...fed up of saying the same things over and over again, he has to go.
There are fundamental flaws which have not been addressed, in-fact as you it's getting worse.

Three specialist batsmen in a team of 11 is kind of beyond parody

50 from 9 overs. Tough bowling conditions eh. *****.
Turned if off mate, the match went between lunch and tea.

Root's decision could possibly ruin the confidence of the team fro the rest of the series, Credit to India but I think England played way too negatively once the first wicket went.

Yup. I can accept us being a poor team if we just didn't have the players. What I can't forgive is the stupid selections, village captaincy decisions, mental weakness and players performing well within their capacity. We were complacent af, came intoithe match expecting to blow India away and lost the match when it didn't happen. There was literally no Plan B.

Our confidence will be shot to shit after this and they are going to need something special to regain the momentum.

Two grounds that will suit India coming up as well. Have to bat first AND CRUCIALLY BAT WELL to avoid the same result at those grounds.

Dreadful from Kohli but Buttler doing a great job

Eh? Do you watch cricket?
I know why you're saying that but I have done for 25 years. But you can tell when the batsmen's mindset is restricting them to the point of suffocation. At that stage coming in and blocking wouldn't have had India's bowlers rattled and loosening their focus, line and length, but attacking them was the only way to change the game at that point. Lance Klusener or Andy Flintoff coming in at number six would have burst out of that mindset, but we just went in cravenly and nurdling at a ball swinging a bit (not that much) and getting ourselves out.

We had to change the game and by the time Buttler did, it was far too late.

The last team to come from 2 down to win a Test series was Bradman's Australia. Would anyone be surprised if this England side became the first to lose a series from 2-0 up since then? No me neither

You seen Kohli's face when England won the toss, when they bowled I bet he couldn't believe his luck

Also nice to see giving the gloves to Jonny Bairstow helped his batting ;)

On another note, Ed Smith is slowly turning into Mick McCarthy
