True but could say the same about pretty much every test nation. Most are very good at home and dogshit away, Pakistan have been the team I've been most impressed with touring here in recent years
I agree. There are no teams out there that could win a series away from home imo. Its a shame cos years ago there were a few teams that used to put up a fight away from home

Nah reckon they're well ahead. Set for 350 plus. Any scoreboard pressure and we crumble. Reminds me a bit of SA Test there last year.

Mind you we're shite with the bat whatever the match situation. When we're 80-4 still 300 behind we'll be in big trouble.

Agreed. They are in the box seat and we now have to bat in rain affected conditions. We should have been bowling if Root and Bayliss had made the correct call, tools.

Until England finish their first innings, it's too early to call, who is leading.

Meh. Average first innings score at TB is 321, which they will beat easily, and deteriorates by each innings. To add to that we will be batting on a rain affected day. Root has fucked up big time.

It's not meh.

Why the aggression? On another day, they would have been all out by tea.

Anyway I stand by what I said. Until both sides have batted, you cannot tell how things will pan out

Where are you average figures from?

This. There just isn’t any fight in this team when they’re really up against it - which they will be when they come to bat. Expect them to surrender a lead of three figures.

Good to read the negativity and the test lost already.

Dear me

Bayliss England Test side mate. We've seen them in this situation before and know the story by now
2-0 up in a home series. The first day india have won so far.

I don't see how anyone can say for 100% certain that England are on course for defeat.

Still if that's how people choose to watch a game, nowt I can say to change minds.

And I fear for us if we lose the toss (or Root wins it and puts them in again, you never know) at the Hampshite Bowl and the Oval

Too early to say, although England have been poor batting for a while they surely have to perform sooner rather than later., think India get 50-100 more and they are safe though ;)
