I'm purely judging him early off his positional sense, his decision making & the fact that he looks uncomfortable on the ball.

In just two games and yet over a season at Hearts do you believe he conned the manager, all the fans and those who pick the team of the year plus Jack Ross? Do you think you know better than everybody else based on two performances where he has not looked great? Genuine question, you said you believe he has no attributes that will make him a great centre half and yet those who have seen him over a prolonged period of time say completely different. So are they all wrong and you are right?

Do you understand that sometimes a different league and style of football can take time for players to adjust to? His record suggests he clearly has serious ability, at the moment he isnt producing it for us but unless he has somehow forgotten how to play football in the last year those attributes are still there......Is he taking time to adjust, absolutely. Does that mean he is shite, no, its just means he is taking time to adjust.......When you switch jobs do you become spot on in a new company over night or does it take time to adjust?

For someone who claims to know a lot about football you are showing a distinct lack of knowledge about football and how professional athletes in general can take time to adjust to new situations. I suggest sir that had you actually played football to a reasonable level you would not be making the comments you are.

Aye, he is utter shit, thats why he was Hearts Skipper, made team of the year in the Scots Premier and even the f***ing Mag Chronicle appear to acknowledge his ability....Two f***ing games for Sunderland and some of the bellends at our club write him off just like they did Kirchoff after his 20 min debut at Spurs. You think we didnt create chances? How many shots on goal? How many great positions that needed a final ball and a proper striker? Did you even watch the game mate?



No need to answer mate, his record speaks for itself.....The bloke was skipper of hearts, was a fans favourite, made Scottish Premier league player of the season.....Did all this happen cause he made mistakes like tonight? Do you honestly have that opinion or are you simply jumping the gun and judging somebody who you have seen for about an hour or so?

Russel Anderson got into the Scottish team of the season. Also looked terrible for us. Just because someone had some success in Scotland it doesn't automatically translate to success here.

In terms of his attributes lets have a go

Leadership (hence Captain of hearts)

Height and strength at 6ft 3ins and 180lbs is a great height/weight ratio for a centre half that allows him to remain mobile (imagine being 6ft 3 ins and under 11st as you think he should be with being 28lbs over weight)

By all accounts carries the ball out of defence well and has a savage shot on him resulting in him scoring 5 in 60 odd for hearts.

Of course anybody with a brain cell is going to go on what those who have seen him for 60 games+ have said rather than relying on the 2 games it has taken for you to write him off

Think it's clear as day that Ozturk will be used as a back up, Looven's and Baldwin seem the likeliest partnership to go with.

Tonight was pretty much used as a friendly and it had its positives in that there's glimpses of a side wanting to get it down, players showing for the ball and an actual plan of how to play instead of the hump ball we've been used to over the years! Add to that a 2nd very decent performance from Max Power, a very good debut for Hume and Maguire showing yet again that he could be the bargain of the season!.....I think we can all agree that the club is definitely heading in the right direction.

He then played a season and a bit in the SPL and the captaincy was given to someone else. You're making it sound like he's a club legend or something.
