She's a good journalist Louise Taylor and part of the North East group of journalists Benitez seems to open up to. Her allong with Caulkin, Martin Hardy, Simon Bird, Mark Douglas and Luke Edwards, they all seem to be reliable and accurate when it comes to what's going on inside st james.
If any of them are writing about problems then its most likely true.
All of whom suck him off and are so far up his fat arse they should be reported missing

Just giving him now to spend, up to Rafa to waddle off and pay Ashley the £6m compensation.

Can't imagine Ashley sacking him and having to pay his contract up.

The compensation clause thing expired after the end of 17/18

Maybe he's just an engaging and likeable bloke so they speak as they find?

If so then your manager could stick to his principles and walk with his reputation pretty much intact.

Wonder if he does?

Stick to principles by not honouring a contract he signed? Whatever he does his choice..wouldn't blame any manager getting fed up and jacking in under this regime.
Don't think he's ever resigned from a previous job though.

The principles that he's been misled over transfer funds, you knew very well what I meant. ;)

We're talking about the here and now.

This season.

We've recouped / are recouping 40m+ in transfer fees.

We will get 50m or so in tv monies

We've spent less than 15m so far.

It doesn't take a genius to see that something is not right . We are being out spent by Huddersfield, Wolves , Fulha.
You might be talking about here and now but I'm taking other things into consideration too mate. Your finances don't default back to zero every summer.

No Lee Ryder ;):)

No. Got no time for "five things we've learned" pieces

Well Kevin Keegan sued them (and won) for constructive dismissal for the same thing.
Genuinely think Ashley dislikes having a popular well liked manager. Like he's jealous or something

Wonder how the chronicle will spin it?

A youthful Newcastle United team wete unluckily beaten by a full strength Braga team who relished playing against their illustrious opponents.

In truth, the result doesn't matter when a ball hasn't been kicked in earnest. However, the reaction of the Braga support, some of whom were queuing 3 days for tickets, was that this was a famous victory to be savoured.

Rafa Benitez was not too concerned about the defeat as he is believed to be in London today sealing the transfer of Eden Hazard from Chelsea for a club record £180 million.

Hazard would improve us a bit but would rather we signed a striker.
