Delighted that such a proud and massive football club has put their trust in me to help them get back to where they belong! Can't wait to get started

To the tune of sweet Caroline

Has the lad got a song yet?

Would depend on how his sur are is pronounced but if like Martin O'Neill, then his old tune would do. If like the number "09", the surely has to be Sweet Child Of Mine

Either to the tune of 'sweet child of mine'? Or to the tune of 'any old iron' for me...

If he’s decent, he’s a cult hero.

What most I like about him (alongside the enthusiasm and wanting to be here) is the lack of fear.

Although he's come across as humble and chuffed we've signed him, there's no talk about anything other than proving himself as soon as he gets on the pitch. It's not arrogance, but he believes he's going to justify our clubs faith in him.

And before social media like Twatter existed for us all to see him? He'd just be another lower league bloke we'd never heard of, let alone been able to form an opinion about his personality.

Bit over the top this thread like, could be an excellent young player for us, bet lets see him play first!

Saw someone on twitter say he was going to be a "club legend" because he was pictured ironing his shirt ffs

I noticed that you didn't let the principle of seeing the lad play first when writing off some of the signings we've made this summer. Interesting how that works

I wonder what the SMB would have thought if social media was around when we signed Dean Whitehead and Liam Lawrence.
