Glad you approve @janey !! I also enjoy not being angry/depressed every time i think about my football club! ha.

I am 100% serious when I say I'm much happier starting over with a new squad in league one under the new lot than I would have been for us to stay up and have Short stick around. Their approach has been spot on and I'm willing to give the the benefit of the doubt if and when things don't quite pan out every time. There might well be some rocky patches ahead but I think they've got a much better understanding of what is needed largely because they understand football.

If they can get to the point where they truly "get" SAFC and we're climbing back up the leagues it could be special. At times over the last few years I've looked back on the 1998-2002 period and wondered "how do we ever gat back to that? players who care and will give everything they've got because they love being here"....I think we're starting to put the building blocks down for exactly that.

If we get beat of Charlton this place will be a nightmare like! :D
I'm 100% on this page.
I am prepared to give the new regime a lot of time; they still have an awful lot of debris to shift before they can really build something solid and sustainable. It's one hell of an ask; so they deserve our patience and respect whilst they continue to work the miracle.

70s theme tunes will always be the best.

Was it ever revealed why he was shot whilst having a cheeky tab?
