I'm 100% on this page.Glad you approve @janey !! I also enjoy not being angry/depressed every time i think about my football club! ha.
I am 100% serious when I say I'm much happier starting over with a new squad in league one under the new lot than I would have been for us to stay up and have Short stick around. Their approach has been spot on and I'm willing to give the the benefit of the doubt if and when things don't quite pan out every time. There might well be some rocky patches ahead but I think they've got a much better understanding of what is needed largely because they understand football.
If they can get to the point where they truly "get" SAFC and we're climbing back up the leagues it could be special. At times over the last few years I've looked back on the 1998-2002 period and wondered "how do we ever gat back to that? players who care and will give everything they've got because they love being here"....I think we're starting to put the building blocks down for exactly that.
If we get beat of Charlton this place will be a nightmare like!![]()
Great post.
Watched a bit of Ironside the other day. I like the full on action when they wheel him up a ramp, into a vanYou’d play bloody ironside ahead of him.

You’ve got to agree it would give us more pace and he’d be definitely more of a threat in the air

If we'd had him and his chair instead of Steele and Camp we might not have been relegatedYou’ve got to agree it would give us more pace and he’d be definitely more of a threat in the air

His distribution alone would have been 100% better than those two buffoonsIf we'd had him and his chair instead of Steele and Camp we might not have been relegated

I'm all for inclusivity but I'd rather get confirmation of the signing...Cue five pages of Ironside diversions whilst we wait for him to sine.

He’s had his Bisto jabsToo close for comfort mate. What if the poor little bugger gets leprosy or Ebola, or magitis. Gravy fever isn’t out of the question either.
Don't really understand why Honeyman, who contributed a good amount of important goals and assists last season, gets slated on here while Gooch, who has yet to contribute much at all, gets a free pass. You’d play bloody ironside ahead of him.
I think they are both decent players.Don't really understand why Honeyman, who contributed a good amount of important goals and assists last season, gets slated on here while Gooch, who has yet to contribute much at all, gets a free pass.

I agree, and I hope they'll play a part this season, but we need more from both.I think they are both decent players.
